Unfortunately, the most recent case is the death of Shreyas Reddy Benigeri in Ohio, currently being investigated by US authorities. This marks the fourth such incident in a span of a month and raises serious concerns about the safety and well-being of Indian students in the country.

Shreyas Reddy Benigeri, a student at the prestigious Lindner School of Business in Cincinnati, passed away. After careful review, the Consulate-General of India in New York has determined that foul play was not suspected at this time. However, the police are actively conducting an investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.

Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, the Consulate posted on X, assuring ongoing support for the family and revealing that the police inquiry is in progress. The details of the incident have not been disclosed, respecting the ongoing nature of the investigation.
