School principal arrested in minor's molestation case

HYDERABAD: The Banjara Hills police on Wednesday arrested Madhavi, the principal of BS DAV Public School, in connection with the alleged sexual assault on a minor student by her driver. The principal, who's the second accused in this case, has been missing since the incident came to light, according to the police.
The police on Wednesday arrested the first accused Rajani Kumar, who had been sexually abusing a four-year-old LKG student at the BS DAV school located in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, for the last three months.
A resident of Attapur, Rajani Kumar (35), was arrested by the Banjara Hills police after the victim's parents filed a complaint against him on Tuesday. Several parents protested at Banjara Hills police station, demanding his arrest. Rajani Kumar is working as a driver of Principal Madhavi.
The arrest of the principal came in the wake of the demand by the victim's parents who accused her of negligence. They felt that the incident demonstrated the principal's failure and that she also be booked for negligence. Meanwhile, when contacted by NewsTAP, the Banjara Hills police neither confirmed nor denied the arrest of Madhavi.
