KARIMNAGAR: A family of three women, two men, and an infant traveling in a car had a providential escape when their car was stuck in the flood water at Incline drainage 2 in Godavarikhani on Tuesday. The family was saved by the Singareni rescue team.

The torrential rains are creating havoc in Telangana for the last few days and the people are facing hardships as the bunds, canals, and rivers are overflowing disrupting the traffic and normal life

As soon as the incident happened, RG1 security personnel immediately responded and with the help of security officer Veera Reddy and the Singareni rescue team, the people trapped in the car were shifted to safety.


The accident occurred when Prabhakar, an artisan driver from Mancherial, was on his way to Manthani from a relatives' house in Godavarikhani in his car. Those who had providential escape profusely thanked the Singareni Rescue staff and the S&PC staff.
