Telangana Govt told to furnish ORR tender details to Revanth Reddy in two weeks

HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court on Friday expressed dissatisfaction over the State Government for not providing the details of tenders of Nehru Outer Ring Road (ORR) to Congress MP Revanth Reddy.
Hearing the petition filed by Revanth, the High Court asked what would the opposition parties talk about in the Assembly, if they were not provided such details.
It may be recalled that Revanth Reddy had sought information about the BRS Government awarding the ORR on Toll, Operate and Transfer (TOT) for 30 years to IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd for Rs 7,380 Crore on May 1. Revanth had sought information under the Right to Information Act on May 1, 2023 and the petitioner argued that he information had not been furnished to him until now.
The Advocate General responded that he was ready to give the details. The court issued orders to give the details requested by Revanth Reddy within two weeks and adjourned the matter for further hearing to August 4.
