Telangana renders National Anthem 'Jana Gana Mana' at 11:30 am on August 16

HYDERABAD: Traffic came to a grinding halt exactly at 11:15a.m. with traffic signal lights at all important junctions turning amber. National Anthem was played through public address systems and people were seen singing along the National Anthem from the seats of their cars or from their respective bikes and scooters. Hyderabad perfectly tuned itself to the clarion call given by Chief Minister K Chandra Shekar to render the 58-seconds long National Anthem.

Telangana stood out in the country with the rendition of the National Anthem at a time.

Metro rail was also in a stand still at the designated time. Passengers travelling stood up to render the National Anthem.
