HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced an ambitious roadmap for the comprehensive development of Telangana, asserting that a detailed Mega Master Plan is in the pipeline.
The Chief Minister made this announcement after inaugurating the Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Department's headquarters in Nanak Ram Guda on Sunday.
Revanth Reddy announced that the Mega Master Plan - 2050 would be a vision document shaping the state's trajectory in the coming years. He said a meticulous three-pronged approach to Telangana's progress would be adopted by categorising the development into urban, semi-urban, and rural sectors.
As part of this strategy, the Chief Minister announced the establishment of a state-of-the-art city sprawling across 25,000 acres near the Outer Ring Road, designed to focus on health, sports, and environmentally friendly industries. He also announced a strategic shift from a singular Pharma City concept to the creation of several pharma villages. Further, he said that the State Government was committed to expanding the metro rail network, with plans to improve its functionality for the benefit of the public.

Revanth Reddy highlighted Hyderabad's global competitiveness, citing the city as an ideal investment destination. He emphasised that despite political changes, Hyderabad had witnessed consistent development over the past three decades.
The Chief Minister pledged to build upon the decisions of previous governments while introducing new measures to catalyse further growth. He emphasised the government's dedication to transparent and inclusive development policies, relying on experience and expert advice and promoting a practical approach instead of claiming to be flawless.
The Chief Minister warned of strict action against those who violate the law, underlining the government's commitment to maintaining law and order.
Reventh Reddy commended the indispensable services of the fire department and expressed gratitude to the fire personnel, recognising their role as the first responders during accidents and their unwavering dedication to safeguarding lives.
