HYDERABAD: The Special Investigation Team (SIT), headed by Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes) of Hyderabad A R Srinivas, probing the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) question paper leak case, has served notices on Telangana PCC president A Revanth Reddy.

The SIT, referring to the charges levelled by Revanth Reddy that 100 persons from the village from where Minister K T Rama Rao’s personal assistant hailed, secured ranks in the Group-1 preliminary examination, sought the proofs for the allegation.

In fact, Revanth Reddy had alleged at least 100 people secured more than 100 marks each and were qualified in the test from Malyala mandal of Karimnagar district. This created a flutter in the political circles.

Consequent upon the charges, the SIT wanted Revanth Reddy to submit the evidence for his charge. Though the TPCC chief initially had said that he had not received any notices and he would respond only after the receipt of the same, and said he would not provide any proof to the SIT. He would submit the proofs of his charges only if the investigation was conducted by a sitting judge of High Court.

Meanwhile, Ms Sucharita, wife of an accused A Rajasekhar Reddy in the question paper leakage case, approached the Telangana High Court seeking a CBI inquiry into the TSPSC leakage case.

Revanth Reddy, however, chickened out by evening and offered to submit the evidence to buttress allegations he levelled.

The SIT had affixed the notices asking him to submit the proofs to the investigation agency.
