Tsunami dwarfed by KCR's marathon flow of thoughts, articulation
"KCR is not afraid of anybody. Modi's government shall go. My conductors are going to be the masses of India," he thundered at different times.
HYDERABAD: Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao has demonstrated his gigantic political personality in its fullest splendour. The occasion was a press conference convened to announce the flood situation and precautionary measures taken by the Telangana Government.
If the biggest phenomenon on the earth is Tsunami, his eloquence has dwarfed even that.
The Chief Minister, who was very conscious of the fact that a huge population is watching his unabated and unrestricted flow of thoughts and expressions live in Television channels, YouTube channels and social media, did not lose sense over the presence of news reporters and that he was addressing them too to convey his message to the people.
Delving deep into facts and statistics, KCR made a case out of every topic that he has touched and launched a diatribe against the BJP's "dubious overtures" of attempying to "manufacturing 'Eknath Shindes' to usurp power" in different States.
The well-oiled back office has indeed supported him with facts, tables and even videos – clips of Narendra Modi's address at the recent BJP's public meeting in Secunderabad and the those of Sujana Chowdary, Mukul Roy and those of that ilk who had switched sides to the BJP soon after the probing agencies like the Enforcement Directorate, CBI and Income Tax "hounded" them.
But, KCR's elephantine memory was spellbinding as he doesn't refer to the papers while lecturing about the per capita income of Telangana in comparison to that of India or the storage capacity of Hover Dam in the USA or the Gross Domestic Product of the country.
KCR did not fail to recall his political mentor, the late N T Rama Rao, by bringing in his reference effectively suiting the context. The bombast of his loquacious address to the media is felt more by the facts he harped, for he seemed empowered by truth than hollowness.
KCR vociferously questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi to name at least one programme of his regime in the last eight years that did good to the nation. He said that "Modi is the weakest of all the Prime Ministers India so far had."
Take a look at the powerful statements he listed out.
"KCR is not afraid of anybody. Modi's government shall go. My conductors are going to be the masses of India," he thundered at different times.
"I will fulfil your desire by launching a national party. Fronts and common minimum programme would become subjects of ridicule. Alternative agenda is what is required. Now the BJP and the Congress are engaged in a blame game. I remained silent for 8 years for the sake of the budding State. If we allow this misrule to continue, India will go back by a century, at least. We will fight against any evil which is undesirable. All the misrule must be switched off.
"Thanks to Indira Gandhi. She at least declared emergency. Now, an undeclared emergency is in vogue.
"I am confident. India reacts whenever there is a need.
"Rupee value plummeted to its all-time low against a US Dollar. Why is it so? Can Modi answer this question?
""There are no Kattappas. What are they talking? We believe in democratic process. Modi does not," asked KCR
"Largest irrigation project with highest storage capacity is in Zimbabwe, followed by three to four such projects in Russia. After those comes Hover Dam in the US. Then the Three Gorges project in China. Should we not have at least four of that magnitude?
"If the people are awaken, every one will come forth."
