The Government decided to implement two more guarantees soon and the same would be discussed in the upcoming budget session of the Assembly.

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Government has decided to henceforth have vehicle registrations to be prefixed with TG instead of TS.

The Government also decided to change the state emblem and also redesign Telangana Thalli. The budget session of the Assembly will commence on February 8.

Two more guarantees promised in the election manifesto — gas cylinder for Rs.500 and free power up to 200 units to households — will be implemented after discussion in the Assembly.

Addressing a press conference let in the evening, Ministers D Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that the previous government had decided to have TS as prefix to vehicle registration numbers against the gazette notification given by the Union Government. The TRS Government did not follow any rule and rhyme and decided to go with TS as per its whims, said Sridhar Babu.

Mega DSC process, asking Cabinet sub-committee to make recommendations for revival of Nizam Sugar Project, allocation of 100 acres to High Court were frozen by the State Cabinet.

As the full-fledged TSPSC was in place, the government was working on identifying the vacant posts and making a list and submitting the same to the commission to fill two lakh posts as promised.

The Government decided to implement two more guarantees soon and the same would be discussed in the upcoming budget session of the Assembly.

A song penned by Andesri was adopted as state song.

The ministers launched a trenchant attack on the BRS Government regarding the Krishna river water distribution.
