Yashwant Sinha accorded rousing reception

HYDERABAD: Nominee of the opposition parties for the Presidential election Yashwant Sinha was accorded a rousing reception at Begumpet airport on Saturday.

Chief Minister of Telangana and TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao and Working president K T Rama Rao and a host of other leaders felicitated Sinha, who came along with his wife, in a special aircraft.

Minister Srinivas Goud, MP Nama Nageshwar Rao and others to joined the Chief Minister in welcoming Sinha. KCR and Sinha went in the same vehicle greeting people on either side of the road from the airport to Jalavihar . A huge bike rally with several leaders like Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and others participated in the rally . The roads were painted pink with TRS flags and and welcome boards all along.

The TRS made elaborate arrangements for the welcome of Sinha. Though TRS was not part of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) led by the Congress, it has endorsed the candidacy of Sinha only to make a political statement that it is opposed to the BJP.
