Young couple, child burnt alive in fire accident at timber depot in Kushaiguda
Three people were burnt alive in a fire accident at a timber depot in Kushaiguda of Uppal constituency in Hyderabad on Sunday.
HYDERABAD: Three people were burnt alive in a fire accident at a timber depot in Kushaiguda of Uppal constituency in Hyderabad on Sunday.
According to information available, a couple with their two children were living at a timber depot in Kushaiguda and making their living. A massive fire broke out at the timber depot at 3 am on Sunday and spread to the adjacent building, leaving the couple along with their younger son dead on the spot and the whereabouts of another child is yet to be ascertained.
The fire brigade after receiving the information reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The victims have been identified as Naresh (35), Suma (28), and Joshith (5) belonging to Tungaturthi of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.
Meanwhile, former GHMC mayor Bonthu Rammoham along with corporator Bonthu Sridevi visited the timber depot and enquired about how the fire accident occurred. Stating that Suma, Naresh, and Joshith who belong to the same family were burnt alive in this accident, Bonthu Rammoham extended condolences to the bereaved family. He assured the bereaved family of government support.
