Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has a keen eye and he hits the bull eye like a professional archer.
Metaphorically, one can say that YS Jagan who has set a target of 175 seats, is all set to hit the bull’s eye in the 2024 elections.
On Sunday, Jagan inaugurated the prestigious YSR Sports Academy in Pulivendula, a state-of-the-art facility constructed at a cost of Rs 26.12 crore. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the unveiling of the second hockey turf court in the State, highlighting the government's commitment to promoting sports and providing world-class infrastructure.
Alongside the hockey turf court, the Chief Minister also inaugurated several other sports facilities, including a basketball court, tennis court, archery block, handball court, kho-kho field, and an indoor badminton court. The comprehensive range of facilities at the YSR Sports Academy is poised to nurture young talents and bolster the development of various sports disciplines in the region.
In a remarkable display of his own sporting spirit, Jagan actively participated in the event, engaging in friendly matches of hockey and archery. The Chief Minister's enthusiastic involvement further emphasised the significance of sports and the government's dedication to fostering a sporting culture in the State.
