KTR accused them of violating their undertaking of 'no-coercive action' given in the Supreme Court and proceeded to arrest his sister Kavitha in the Delhi liquor policy money laundering case. He warned the ED officials stating they were in big trouble for violating the Supreme Court order.
KTR alleged that ED officials purposely came on Friday as there was no opportunity to present the case before the Magistrate. He was also furious with the ED officials who were not allowing them to enter the house even after the search was over.
KTR in a post on “X” said: “Abuse of power and institutional misuse to settle political scores is something that has become increasingly common with BJP Govt in last 10 years.
“ED needs to answer Supreme Court on the inordinate rush to arrest when the matter is very much sub-judice & up for review in a couple of days, on the 19th March. What’s even more appalling is the ED undermining it’s own undertaking given to the Hon’ble Supreme Court Justice shall prevail and we will continue to fight legally.”
