HYDERABAD: Exuberance on the part of a commercial entity and the staff in putting up a flexi banner resulted in heavy traffic jam at Madinaguda here on Thursday morning. Vehicular movement to Madinaguda from Chandanagar and Miyapur was paralysed for over an hour as the insensitive personnel went about their task of installing the commercial Flexi banner on a foot-over bridge.
The flexi, which caused severe inconvenience to the public, was set up by Meenakshi Lucknow Chikan Designers to promote their grand opening in Chandanagar. Reportedly, the vehicles were stuck in the heavy traffic for more than an hour. School and college buses carrying students were also among the vehicles left stranded.
The new branch of the business entity at Chandanagar was set to be launched on Thursday. Popular TV anchor Srimukhi and Tollywood playback singer Mangli were the guests for the occasion.
