Don't force us to pick up knives: KCR warns opposition
KCR has warned the Opposition to not resort to violence and push the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) to pick up knives too
BANSWADA: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has warned the Opposition to not resort to violence and push the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) to pick up knives too.
Speaking at the Praja Ashirwada Sabha in Banswada on Monday, KCR condemend the attack on Medak MP and Dubbaka candidate Kotha Prabhakar Reddy.
"I am warning people to be careful and not resort to violence. We will show you what we are made of, if you test our patience. It is not an attack on Prabhakar, it’s an attack on me. Unable to face the elections, they are resorting to violence.
“Many elections were held in the last 10 years but we never resorted to violence. We won only because people voted for us. The opposition today attacked Dubbaka candidate Kotha Prabhakar Reddy with a knife in Siddipet district. Luckily, he escaped. They do not have the ability to face the elections or show their face to the people,” KCR said.
Stating that Telangana would remain a secular State until he's alive, KCR said, "BRS will continue to follow the principles of 'Ganga-Jamuna Tehzeeb' for which Telangana is showcased as an example for others in the country.
"Many Urdu residential schools have been set up in Kamareddy district and the Government is planning to construct many Inter and degree colleges for Muslim students," KCR said.
KCR emphasised how Pocharam Srinivas Reddy worked as an Agriculture Minister and called him 'Lakshmi Putrudu' and also termed Banswada as 'Bangaruwada'. KCR stressed that Pocharam Srinivas Reddy would win with the highest majority of nearly 1 lakh votes and assured the people that he would be given a big post once BRS wins the polls.
