Drunk man 'dances', causes nuisance in Jeedimetla

HYDERABAD: A person in an inebriated condition caused some nuisance and some amusement to onlookers at Jeedimetla in Hyderabad on Thursday evening.

The man caused rukkus on road and attacked Jeedimetla traffic police officials who were on duty. The incident took placed near Suraram Mallareddy Hospital under Dundigal Police Station. He attacked them with stones. He was eventually overpowered by the police and a case was booked.

He was intercepted by the traffic police, as he was found driving without control and cutting on all directions aimlessly. The drunken man was enraged as the police stopped only him and not others on the road. He picked up an argument and then an altercation with the policemen.

While the police maintained restraint, locals from the motley crowd surrounded him and beaten him. He was handed over to the police.

An onlooker shot a video and circulated it in WhatsApp groups.
