Family of six burnt to death in a fire mishap at a house in Mandamarri

ADILABAD: A family of six were burnt alive in a major fire accident that took place at a house in Venkatapur of Mandamarri mandal in Mancherial district on Friday midnight. According to reports, the fire broke out in Masu Sivaiah and gradually spread to the whole house leaving another person to die along with the family members.

Upon receiving the information, the firemen rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

According to police, house owner Masu Sivaiah, his wife Padma, Padma's sister's daughter Mounika and her two daughters, and Singareni employee Shantaiah died in the accident.

DCP Akhil Mahajan who inspected the spot inquired about the cause of the accident and started an investigation.
