Fire breaks out in Dakshin Express at Bhuvanagiri
HYDERABAD: Passengers on board Delhi-bound Dakshin Express from Hyderabad were scared and rank helper skeleton for safety when fire broke out all of a sudden.
This occurred around midnight between Bhuvanagiri and Pagidipalli railway stations.
The fire broke out in the last coach of the train around 1 am. The railway crew alerted the locopilot about the fire and he brought the train to a halt.
Passengers who noticed the raging flames alighted the train and ran for safety.
Fire brigade, upon learning about the fire, rushed to the scene and douse it.
Special rescue assistance teams from Secunderabad reached the spot in a special train.
The coach that caught fire was luggage brake van.
Details on whether anyone is injured is yet to be known.
