Jagan is misusing power, killing democracy, says Chandrababu Naidu after arrest
I have been fighting on people's issues for the past four-and-a-half years and that's why they have arrested me. I am hurt and I condemn this, Naidu said.
NANDYAL: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government was misusing power and killing democracy. Speaking to the media after his arrest by the Andhra Pradesh CID for the alleged role in the AP Skill Development Scam, the TDP president said,
"The Government is misusing power and killing democracy. A common man too has a fundamental right. When I questioned the reason for my arrest, asked for prima facie evidence, they failed to give answers. They questioned me through the night and have decided to arrest me."
"Am pleading with the public. I have been fighting on people's issues for the past four-and-a-half years and that's why they have arrested me. I am hurt and I condemn this. Their plan is to ensure I don't take up people's issues. Justice will prevail," he added
