SIRCILLA: Telangana Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao took to the wheel, albeit in the placid waters of Mid-Manair reservoir on Friday. He launched a boat service in the reservoir.
Telangana tourism department has undertaken numerous development projects in Rajanna Sircilla district to give a fillip to the tourism activity.
As part of this, a boating unit was built at a cost of Rs 3.16 crore to attract tourists and let them to experience boating while admiring the beauty of Mid Manair reservoir.
Minister KTR, along with minister V Srinivas Goud, also unveiled the statue of Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud in Sircilla.
"Telangana government is taking care of people from all walks of life. Earlier, if you came to Siricilla, you would not see even a drop of water. Sircilla has evolved like Papikondalu and Konaseema. All types of initiatives are being made to expand Madhyamaneru, " said KTR.
Srinivas Goud and other elected representatives and officials aboard the boat enthused KTR as he cruised the boat through the swirling waters of the Manair.
