HYDERABAD: Upbeat Congress workers particularly from TPCC president A Revanth Reddy’s native place Kodangal gathered in front of his residence at the CBI colony of Jubilee Hills here on Sunday after early trends predicted a victory for the Congress in Telangana.
The police on the other hand tightened security at his residence by bringing in more men and women in unform to frisk and let the visitors inside the residence. The number of people visiting the TPCC chief increased as the trends started showing a clear majority for the Congress.
A huge TV screen was arranged in the lobby where a huge number of party workers gathered and watched the results on live TV. Fans of Revanth Reddy holding placards of Sonia Gandhi and Revanth Reddy and Congress flags were seen dancing to the sounds of drums in jubilation outside on the streets.
