Traffic constable Pandu risks life to save cat at Uppal

HYDERABAD: A traffic constable risked his life to save a cat stuck amidst steel rods of a pillar under construction near the Kendriya Vidyabal at Uppal Ring Road on Tuesday.

Schoolchildren and locals informed Pandu, a traffic constable on duty there, that the cat was stuck amid a mesh of steel rods in the pillar under construction for three days and was craving for help. Soon, he scaled the pillar risking his life and brought the cat down and left it at its place where it belonged to. People around lauded the effort of the cop and his dare devil act to save the cat.
