Warangal CP busts conspiracy of SSC paper leak, confirms Bandi Sanjay's aide as main accused

WARANGAL: Commissioner of Police of Warangal A V Ranganath has busted the conspiracy behind the SSC Hindi paper leakage and confirmed the culprit as the key aide of BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar. The conspiracy was hatched and executed with a definite intent of defaming the BRS government and also detailing the process of examinations.

Briefing the media in the late evening on Tuesday, the Commissioner said that the question paper was captured in a mobile phone at 9.45 am — which was 15 minutes after the start of the exam, and was shared with Shiva Ganesh, by Buram Prashant, the key follower of Bandi Sanjay.

In turn, it was forwarded to the SSC WhatsApp group at 9.59 am followed by the video groups at 10.46 am.

The Commissioner also confirmed that the accused Prashant was the one who created a fake breaking message over the leakage of Hindi paper at an examination centre in Kamalapur of Hanamkonda district and sent to media outlets at 11.19 am, besides forwarding it to BJP Telangana state president Bandi Sanjay in the latter’s mobile phone.

The Commissioner disclosed that a message was composed and sent from the WhatsApp of the accused. The message read as “SSC Hindi question paper leaked at 9.30 am. The SSC paper is leaked on the second consecutive day. The question paper is leaked through WhatsApp groups. Parents and students are worried about the leakage.”

However, the Commissioner of Police said that it was not a leakage of question paper and clarified it as copying of the question paper.

As soon as the Commissioner explained the sequence of events and the conspiracy, rank and file of the BRS began exposing the evil act on social media.

The police arrested the accused and are investigating the case thoroughly.

The police released some photographs of the accused who flanked Bandi Sanjay and also BJP’s national OBC Morcha president Dr K Lakshman.
