WARANGAL: Here is yet another scary video showing how youngsters, in their craze for making short videos, are flirting with danger and ending up paying a heavy price.
An Intermediate student is battling for life on Sunday after being hit by a train while making a reel for an Instagram post on the Vaddepalli railway track near Kazipet. The youngster, identified as Ajay, a first year Intermediate student, was grievously injured in the incident. In his desire to shoot the best possible video, he went too close to the railway track.
The video, filmed by one of his friends, shows the mishap in spine-chilling detail. The student tried to pose for the camera while walking too close to the track in an attempt to capture the speeding train in the background.
But with all his calculations going horribly wrong, he was hit by the speeding train. Under its impact, Ajay instantly went flying in the air and fell a few feet away, all happening in the space of a few seconds.
A railway guard called the 108 ambulance service after seeing Ajay soaked in blood on the track. The youngster was shifted to a nearby hospital where his condition was stated to be very critical. He is suspected to have sustained a serious head injury and there was heavy bleeding from behind his left ear.
