US Consulate unveiled the $340 million state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad

US Consulate General in Hyderabad began operations at its new facility in Nanakramguda on March 20, 2023

Groundbreaking was held in 2017 at the new facility, which is South Asia's largest US consulate in Nanakramguda

The new consulate was built at a cost of $340 million under the US-India Strategic Partnership

Staffing expanded from 150 to 255 desks to ease applicant waits, while consular windows increased from 14 to 54, creating a huge waiting room at the new facility

The walkways at the new consulate are adorned with a garden which reflects the local geological landscape

Visa applicants who have scheduled interviews will now go to this new facility

All other services, such as biometrics appointments, dropbox appointments, and passport collection, will continue to be handled by the Madhapur Visa Application Center (VAC)
