1,852 'Pattana Prakruthi Vanalu' add up to green Telangana splendour
Telangana government has developed 'Pattana Prakruthi Vanalu' across every municipality as part of its 'Pattana Pragathi' initiative
HYDERABAD: In an era of rapid urbanization, one cannot ignore the significance of greenery, required for a peaceful living. Therefore, the Telangana government has developed 'Pattana Prakruthi Vanalu' (PPV) across every municipality as part of its ambitious 'Pattana Pragathi' initiative.
According to reports, about 1,852 Pattana Prakruthi Vanalu or 'tree houses' have been developed in 141 urban local bodies (ULBs). The government has proposed to build another 528 tree houses in the year 2022-23. Reportedly, each park was built with a budget of Rs 13 lakhs.
With every municipality having its own tree house, it benefits in the development of rural areas. These parks beautify each municipality and enable its citizens to spend a breezy evening in delightful nature.
