Intermediate student dies by suicide after being reprimanded by father in Quthbullapur

HYDERABAD: An intermediate student died by suicide after being scolded by his father on a trivial issue in Quthbullapur under Suraram Police Station limits.

The deceased, Ashok, had gone for the night for Ganesh idol immersion with his friends and returned home the following morning. His father reprimanded him for leaving without informing him.

Ashok, distressed by the scolding, went into his room and took his own life by hanging to the ceiling. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
