Police intensify search to arrest choreographer Jani Master in sexual assault case

HYDERABAD: Narsingi police have intensified the efforts to arrest noted choreographer Jani Master, who has been absconding ever since the registration of a sexual assault case against him.
Jani Master has been accused of sexual assault by a dancer, leading to the registration of cases under IPC Sections 376, 506, and 323(2). As part of the ongoing investigation, Narsingi police have already recorded the victim's statement and are intensifying their search for Johnny Master, who is believed to be in Nellore.
The police are coordinating with Nellore authorities to issue notices to the choreographer. Meanwhile, the victim has undergone medical examinations as part of evidence collection. Police also revisited her residence to gather further details.
During the investigation, the victim alleged that Jani Master raped and assaulted her, coercing her inside a caravan during a shoot. She claimed he harassed her for sexual favours, threatening to block her career opportunities if she refused. The victim also accused Jani Master of assaulting her in Hyderabad and Mumbai, pressuring her to marry him.
