Five robbers break into house in Suryapet, steal gold and cash

HYDERABAD: Five unidentified men broke into a house in Vellatur village of Suryapet district and carried out an armed robbery.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night when the robbers threatened the occupants with knives, making off with seven tolas of gold and Rs 50,000 in cash.

The police have registered a case and begun an investigation. Kodad DSP Sridhar Reddy and ASP Nageshwara Rao visited the crime scene for further inspection.
