HYDERABAD: A large python entered the Nennela police station in Mancherial district, becoming entangled in barbed wire along the station’s perimeter. The snake suffered injuries and was stuck for an extended period. Upon discovering the situation, police notified a snake catcher.

Due to the barbed wire, the python sustained injuries, including blood loss. Forest officials, with the help of the snake catcher, transported the python to the Bellampalli veterinary hospital for treatment. Veterinarians provided first aid, stitched two deep cuts, and stabilised the reptile. Later, district forest officials safely released the python into the Ellaram forest range.
