HYDERABAD: Bomb threats have created a stir in Tirupati, with anonymous warnings targeting several hotels and a flight.

Unknown individuals issued threats to blow up hotels in Tirupati, specifically sending alarming emails to three private hotels near Leela Mahal and others close to Kapilatheertham and Alipiri. The messages demanded money, threatening to detonate bombs in multiple locations within these hotels if their demands were not met.

Upon receiving the information, police launched an extensive search operation across the targeted hotels but confirmed that no explosives were found. This false alarm, however, left residents and visitors shaken.

Additionally, police reported a bomb threat involving Star Airlines flight S5-154 at Tirupati Airport. The threat was allegedly issued from an account named "Adamlanza 333" on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The airport authorities were immediately alerted, and necessary security protocols were activated.

Police have registered cases related to both incidents and are actively investigating the origin of the emails and social media threat messages.
