RTC bus falls into gorge near Pulivendula, 20 injured

PULIVENDULA: A major accident was narrowly avoided in the YSR district of Andhra Pradesh when an RTC Palle Velugu bus carrying passengers lost control and fell into a 30-foot gorge near Pulivendula. Twenty passengers sustained injuries.

Local police, alerted by the accident, rushed to the scene and rescued the passengers, transporting them to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to officials, two of the injured are in critical condition.

The accident occurred early Wednesday morning while the bus was en route from Kadiri to Pulivendula. Authorities are yet to determine the exact cause of the accident, and a case has been registered for further investigation.
