Confusion over Jani Master's arrest; apprehended in Goa, not Bengaluru

HYDERABAD: Contrary to earlier reports, Cyberabad's Special Operations Team (SOT) arrested choreographer Jani Master in Goa, not Bengaluru, as previously believed. The police presented him in a Goa court under a Prisoner Transit (PT) warrant, paving the way for his transfer to Hyderabad.

Jani Master, facing charges including rape and a POCSO case, will be brought to Hyderabad, where he is expected to be presented in the Upparapalli court tomorrow. The arrest follows allegations of sexual harassment by a female assistant choreographer.
