Midnight road accident in Adilabad claims five lives, including three children

ADILABAD: Five people, including three children, were killed when a Max pickup vehicle crashed into roadside pillars and went out of control near Mekalagandi in Gudihatnur mandal of Adilabad district past Monday midnight.

The deceased were identified as Moizuddin (60), Moinuddin (40), Mohammed (5), Usmanuddin (12), and Usman (12). All of them were residents of Teachers Colony in Adilabad town. Three other passengers suffered serious injuries and were immediately shifted to RIMS Hospital for treatment.

The victims were returning to Adilabad after attending an event in Bhainsa when the accident took place. Police began an investigation after registering a case.
