Rowdy sheeters brutally beat tractor driver in Warangal

WARANGAL: A man was grieviously injured after he was attacked by two alleged rowdy sheeters in BRS Nagar, Ursugutta of Warangal district.

The assault took place two days ago, but it only came to public attention recently.

The accused, identified as Sampath and Mallesh, were consuming alcohol in an auto that they had parked in the middle of the road. While they were drinking, a tractor driver named Santosh passed by. One of the rowdy sheeters spat in his direction.

Santosh, upon noticing this, confronted them and said the spit landed on him. Enraged by this, the intoxicated Sampath and Mallesh got out of the auto and attacked Santosh with sticks. They assaulted him brutally, asking, "Will you dare to question us?"

Santosh, who was critically injured, was immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment. His condition remains serious.
