HYDERABAD: A breach in the Sagar canal near Paleru in Kusumanchi mandal, Khammam district, reoccurred shortly after water was released, following recent repairs by the authorities. The water supply has been halted once again to address the issue.

Farmers in the region have alleged that the breach resulted from substandard repair work carried out earlier. They criticised the quality of the repairs and demanded action against the contractor and the officials responsible, urging stricter measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
