Jagan to support Jahnavi in becoming astronaut

AMARAVATI: Dangeti Jahnavi of Palakollu met Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, on Wednesday, who became the first Indian to participate in NASA's International Air and Space programme in January 2022.
She met the Chief Minister, who was on his two-day tour to visit flood-hit areas of the State and was leaving Rajamahendravaram R&B Guest House. Jahnavi explained her desire to become a pilot astronaut and requested him to help meet the cost of training.
Jahnavi explained to Jagan that she was moving forward with determination to enter the space like Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams. The Chief Minister responded positively to Jahnavi's appeal. Minister of Backward Classes Welfare Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna and Jahnavi's family members were among those who met the Chief Minister.
