MAHBUBNAGAR: “I am the rock against Rahul’s anti-Hindu tirade,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing a public meeting in Narayanpet of Mahbubnagar Parliamentary Constituency on Friday.

Launching a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi, Modi said that the same person who described himself as a shop that sells love in a street of hatred joined his hands with anti-national forces.

Taking a serious note of Indian Overseas Congress chairman Sam Pitroda’s comments on skin colour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Congress insulted south Indians and people of Telangana based on their dark skin colour. “Those who dance keeping the Constitution on their heads are insulting the people of the country based on their skin colour. The people of the country worship Lord Sri Krishna whose skin colour is like all of us,” Modi pointed out.

Blaming Rahul Gandhi for spearheading vote Jihad, Narendra Modi said that the Congress started treating attendance at temples as an anti-national activity. “The Congress won't care about Hindus. They treat us like second-class citizens. They are adamant about extending Muslim reservations to the rest of India which is against the Constitution. Dr BR Ambedkar negated reservations based on religion as it encourages conversions,” he observed.

The PM said that Muslim reservations would usurp the quota of the SC, ST, and BC population in the country. “Modi will guard the rights of the poor as the Congress is not ready to listen to Madigas, as they are not Congress’s vote bank,” he said.

Terming the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as elections for the nation's future, he said that a vote for the BJP would ensure development and national security. “For ten years after the formation of Telangana, the Centre gave lakhs of crores, but the BRS and the Congress have looted the State.

“The only industry the Congress opened in five months is the fake videos industry. The Congress which is in cahoots with the BRS took no action against its role in the sagging of Medigadda barrage,” Modi said.

He said that Chief Minister Revant Reddy shuddered when he talked about the RR tax imposed in Telangana by the Congress. “The RR tax become a subject for discussion in New Delhi’s political circles,” he pointed out.
