KCR to leave for Maharashtra in a huge convoy, to perform Puja at famous shrines

HYDERABAD: After the inauguration of the party office in Nagpur of Maharashtra last week, Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is making all the efforts to expand the party in Maharashtra and, in turn, throughout the country.

The BRS chief who believes that Maharashtra is the best choice to start the expansion of the party will be touring Maharashtra for two days from Monday along with MLAs, MLCs, other public representatives, and BRS leaders.

As part of the tour, the Chief Minister will leave Hyderabad in a while with a huge convoy and perform special pujas in Pandaripur and Tuljapur temples. The Telangana Chief minister will arrive in Solapur on Monday evening where he would invite the prominent leader of Solapur district Bhagirath Balke into BRS, besides meeting many leaders of Maharashtra in Solapur and the families of handloom workers who have migrated from Telangana.

Later, on Tuesday, the BRS chief will reach Pandharpur in Solapur district and perform a special pooja at Sri Vithal Rukmini Mandir there, followed by visiting Tulja Bhavani Goddess which is a renowned Shakti Peetham in Darashiv district. The Chief Minister will reach Hyderabad by road on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, the BRS party is received well in Maharashtra, especially on the borders of Telangana, and the BRS candidate was elected as the Sarpanch of Savkheda Gram Panchayat in Gangapur of Chhatrapathi Shambhaji Nagar District on Saturday was the classic example.

On the other hand, leaders from the Congress and the NCP such as National Secretary of NCP Minority Cell Arif Azmi, Fazil Ansari, Bhiwandi Congress leader and social activist Irfan Momin, Congress leader and senior NGO leader Arfat Sheikh, NCP Thane District vice-president Maqsood Khan joined in BRS on Sunday.
