Jr NTR visits Narayana Hrudayalaya, says Taraka Ratna responding to treatment

BENGALURU: Tollywood hero Jr NTR on Sunday visited his ailing cousin Taraka Ratna at the Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences (Narayana Hrudayalaya) in Bengaluru. The doctors at the hospital briefed the hero and his brother Kalyan Ram on the health condition of Taraka Ratna and the procedures of treatment being provided to him.

Speaking to the media later, Jr NTR said that Taraka Ratna had been responding to the treatment, much to the relief of Nandamuri fans and TDP supporters. While stating that his condition was stable, he however cautioned that that did not mean that his cousin was entirely out of critical state.

He appealed for the blessings of his fans and wanted them to pray for his well-being. Nara Brahmani, wife of Lokesh and Balakrishna's daughter, was also among the family members who visited the Narayana Hrudayalaya.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Somappa Bommai rushed Karnataka Health Minister Keshava Sudhakar to Bangalore airport after knowing that actor Jr N T Rama Rao was visiting his cousin Taraka Ratna at Narayana Hrudayalaya.

Karnataka Health Minister Keshav Sudhakar not only received Jr NTR and his family at Bengaluru airport but also visited the hospital to enquire about Taraka Ratna's health.

He also discussed with the doctors on the treatment being provided to him. According to reports, the Karnataka Chief Minister had directed the minister to provide all information regarding Taraka Ratna's health to family members.

No stent placed due to threat of a second heart attack: Balakrishna

Tollywood actor and Nandamuri Taraka Ratna’s uncle, Nandamuri Balakrishna too echoed the same, saying that Taraka Ratna had been responding positively to the medical treatment and his health condition has improved. However, he is still on a ventilator, he added. Balakrishna appealed to Nandamuri fans to pray for Taraka Ratna's speedy recovery.
