HYDERABAD: A four-year-old boy was injured when he was attacked by stray dogs while he was playing near his house.

The incident occurred at Balaji Enclave Apartments, close to Balaji Function Hall in the 20th ward of Peerzadiguda Municipality, under the Medipally police station limits. The boy, identified as Bhargav, is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

Locals expressed anger, stating that the incident occurred due to the authorities’ failure to act on multiple complaints about the stray dog menace. Residents said they had lodged several complaints over the past three months, urging officials to address the issue, but no action was taken. Locals are now demanding immediate steps to prevent further attacks.
