KTR slams Congress government over Telangana's exclusion from EoDB rankings
KTR criticised the Congress government for Telangana's drop in Ease of Doing Business rankings, blaming the current administration for damaging the state's business climate.
HYDERABAD: BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao strongly criticised the Congress government for Telangana's absence from the latest Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) reformers' rankings.
In a tweet, KTR highlighted that Telangana had consistently held the top spot in the EoDB rankings under the BRS rule, but the state's exclusion under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy marked a sharp decline.
KTR accused the Congress government of allowing shady ventures and shell companies to thrive while the state's business reputation suffered. He further condemned the inefficiency of the current administration, calling it a "pathetic state of affairs" and asking for an explanation for the shocking decline in the state's performance.
He urged the Congress government to reflect on how Telangana, once a top performer, has now become one of the worst performers in these rankings.
