HYDERABAD: Telangana State BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has brought self-respect to the backward communities like no other Chief Minister in the history of independent India. Six caste groups such as Munnuru Kapu, Perika, Telangana Maratha Mandali, Kummari Salivahana, VishwaBrahman, Nakkasa/Areti Kshatriya, who formed a single association, on Friday, in MCRHRD along with fellow minister Srinivas Goud, granted permits for dignity housing..

On this occasion, Minister Gangula said that 24 caste associations have already formed a single association and taken permission documents and called upon the rest of the castes to form a single association within the next week. It is only the Chief Minister KCR who not only allocated 82.30 acres of land worth thousands of crores to 41 castes in the heart of Hyderabad but also entrusts the construction of the building to the respective caste associations and gives funds to them. Minister Gangula Kamalkar said that the self-esteem buildings in the heart of the city of Hyderabad will provide the best services in terms of education, social, cultural and accommodation to the respective caste communities.

Another Minister Srinivas Goud who participated in this program said that according to the research done by Mahatma Jyotibapule, all our castes originated from the same house, they were separated in terms of professions and later took the form of castes, therefore he called upon the backward communities to be united as one. Inter-caste marriages should be encouraged while working for a caste-free society, and the backward castes who came together on one hand at the instigation of Chief Minister KCR should show the same self-respect in the future.

MP Vadviraju Ravichandra, who participated in this program, said that Hon'ble Chief Minister KCR has given thousands of crores worth of land and funds to the backward communities and wished to make use of it and urged to build buildings to reflect the self-esteem of the caste.

Former speaker MLC Madhusudanachari said that he thanked the Chief Minister KCR for bringing the caste communities together for self-respect and expressed his gratitude to Minister Gangula Kamalakar. On this occasion, the caste associations who received building permits honoured the ministers and other public representatives.

BC Welfare Department Chief Secretary Burra Venkatesham, MLAs Danam Nagender, Korukanti Chander, Sahitya Akademi Chairman Juluri Gowri Shankar, Water Resources Corporation Chairman V. Prakash, BC Commission Member Upendra, other BC Welfare Department officials, representatives of six caste community leaders, on a large-scale BC participated.
