TIRUMALA: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has vowed that he will continue the good relations with Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to media outside the Tirumala temple after having darshan of Lord Venkateswara here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that he would meet the Chief Minister after the swearing-in ceremony after the election results were announced.

”I could not make it despite wishing to have the darshan of the Lord soon after the formation of the government in Telangana. I would discuss with the government that would come to power in Andhra Pradesh and would maintain good relations with the Chief Minister of the State.

”I desired that we work together for the development of both states. Telangana wants to build a ‘saream’ and a Kalyanamandapam and I would urge the Chief Minister to permit the same to serve the Lord on behalf of Telangana.”

He said he desired and prayed for a strong relationship with Andhra Pradesh. He proposed that Telangana Government would build a guesthouse and a Kalyanamandapam for people of Telangana going over to Tirumala from across the country for pilgrimage.

He would personally call on the Chief Minister and make the appeal for the proposal. “I wish bothe States should prosper.” He declined to speak politics at the temple (hilltop).

the situation was very good and though Telangana reeled under severe drought conditions last year, there were good rains later and the “atmosphere is very good.” He would expect good crops this year.
