KCR luring Congress MLAs to bring down Govt. after Lok Sabha elections, says Bandi Sanjay
The senior BJP leader said that KCR had implanted his coverts in the Congress party by funding them at the time of elections.
KARIMNAGAR: BJP national general secretary Bandi Sanjay on Sunday alleged that BRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) was luring Congress MLAs and Revanth Reddy’s Government would fall anytime after the Lok Sabha elections.
The senior BJP leader said that KCR had implanted his coverts in the Congress party by funding them at the time of elections. “KCR had hatched a mega plan to pull down the Congress Government with the help of the coverts who will rebel in the due course of time,” he said at a meeting arranged to welcome BRS workers from Manakondur into the BJP.
Elaborating on his allegation Bandi Sanjay said that KCR was in touch with the Congress MLAs. “BRS is bargaining the price and KCR might pull down the Congress Government and blame it on the BJP,” he pointed out.
Answering questions from the media, he said that BRS doesn’t even have 17 worthy candidates to declare the Lok Sabha list if elections were declared right away. On the other hand, the BJP was fully ready for the polls.
Countering the allegation that BJP and BRS had a tacit understanding to keep the Congress at bay, he said that the Congress was at fault for not understanding the KCR’s game plan. “I pity the Congress, for they were not able to recognise KCR’s nefarious plan. For the sake of the people of Telangana we (BJP) will work hard and help the Government,” he said.
Calling upon the State Government to be friendly with the Government at the Centre to get funds for the development of the State, Bandi Sanjay wanted to know from where the Congress Government would gather funds to release Rytu Bandhu (Bharosa) funds for 48 lakh farmers. “By blaming the BJP for Rahul Gandhi won’t get the State Congress anywhere,” he pointed out.
Replying to a question on the allegations that the consecration of the Ayodhya Sri Ram temple was taken up only to gain political mileage, he said that the time and date were fixed based on the advice of renowned astrologers and Vedic pundits.
“The same Congress which asked for the proof of Lord Rama’s birth in Ayodhya is now talking about the consecration ceremony,” he said. He added that Congress which was expecting mayhem in the country after the favourable Supreme Court’s verdict on Ayodhya was now talking meaningless in fear. He blamed the BRS Government for failing to complete the promises it made to develop the Vemulawada, Kondagattu, and Dharmapuri temples.
