NIZAMABAD: Free bus travel for women, introduced by the Congress Government in Telangana, has caused a heartburn in a man.
Nobody knows how many men are feeling the same way as this man did.
Soon after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy launched the free bus service for women last week, several memes began flying thick and fast across all social media platforms. Facebook, X, Instagram, WhatsApp were used for making the memes and jokes go viral.
This person stood in front of an RTC Bus at Armoor Bus Station in Nizamabad district on Saturday morning and began his protest. He is appreciative of the gesture of the Government in providing free bus service for women. Women of every household - housewives and girl children - would all make use of this opportunity. However, some seats should be reserved for men in the buses and also they should also be given the opportunity to travel by those buses free of cost. If there are 30 seats in a bus, let 20 be given to women but “please keep 10 for men.”
