Minister Jagadish Reddy uses convoy to rush injured judge from Suryapet to hospital in Hyderabad

The ambulance in which the judge was travelling was placed in the middle of the Minister's convoy which ensured that the judge reached the hospital in 1 hour and 15 minutes

HYDERABAD: Telangana Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy used his convoy to best effect on Sunday to rush an injured judge to a hospital from Suryapet to Hyderabad. The minister, who was attending a programme in Thirumalagiri in Suryapet district on Sunday, was informed about Andhra Pradesh High Court Judge Justice Sujatha Vaddiboina's road accident where her car lost control and overturned on Vijayawada highway.

The incident occurred on National Highway 65 on the outskirts of Tirumalagiri on Sunday while the High Court judge was traveling from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. While Justice Sujatha sustained head injuries, her gunman and driver escaped unharmed.

Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and transported Justice Sujatha to a private hospital in Suryapet district headquarters wherein the doctors stated that her condition was stable and referred her to Hyderabad for better treatment.

Jagadish Reddy acted wisely and rushed the judge to a private hospital in Hyderabad. The ambulance in which the judge was travelling, was placed in the middle of the Minister's convoy which ensured that the judge reached the hospital in the city in one hour and 15 minutes.
