AMARAVATHI: Razole MLA Rapaka VaraprasadRapaka Varaprasad, who was elected on Jana Sena Party ticket, alleged that the opposition Telugu Desam Party offered him a whopping Rs. 10 crores and a position in the TDP if he voted for a TDP candidate in the recently held MLA quota MLC elections.

The video of comments made by the MLA at a meeting on Saturday in Antarvedi, where he was seen saying that the TDP had approached his friend KSN Raju extending an offer to him on voting for TDP had created a stir in Andhra Pradesh politics.

The MLA was also seen saying that he rejected the proposal as he had a character and also confidence in the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy administration.

However, when questioned about the same on Sunday, Rapaka confirmed the allegations and said that he was approached by TDP MLA Ramaraju as well on the day of voting seeking vote for TDP. On the other hand, Undi MLA Ramaraju denied allegations made by Rapaka and said that there were no such proposals sent to the latter. He said that Rapaka Varaprasad was making the allegations only to derive political mileage.
