PRODDUTUR: YSRCP MLA from Proddutur Rachamallu Siva Prasada Reddy, who indulged in some ‘karra saamu’ fun in the town, lost balance and fell to the ground on Thursday. The MLA led a rally of YSRCP activists to rejoice the anticipatory bail granted to Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy by the Telangana High Court in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case.
The rally was taken out with about 1,000 kalasas (vessels) up to the local Siva temple. The MLA was in his elements while wielding the stick and displaying his skills in the ancient martial art of Andhra Pradesh. Even as everyone, including the legislator, was in full revelry, Siva Prasada Reddy suddenly lost balance and fell to the ground.
His followers rushed to his rescue and helped him rise back on his feet. Shrugging off the embarrassing moment, the MLA went ahead with the rest of the programme. The video of the incident went viral on social media.
