Police arrest YouTuber Dasari Vignan for uploading objectionable content

HYDERABAD: Police arrested a YouTuber named Dasari Vignan for allegedly uploading objectionable videos featuring disturbing images on YouTube. The arrest was made by the Cyber Crime Police, who identified Vignan as having a history of similar offences.

Investigations revealed that Dasari Vignan had previously collaborated with another individual, Harsha Sai, who is also under scrutiny by the authorities. Police confirmed that there are already six cases registered against Vignan for similar activities.

The authorities have filed charges against Dasari Vignan under Section 72 and Section 356 (1) of the IT Act, 2008, along with Section 67, which pertains to the dissemination of obscene material through electronic platforms.
